Love basketball? This is your (seriously rare) chance to see the Australian Boomers take on the mighty USA Basketball in two exhibition games on home soil at Melbourne’s Etihad Stadium on August 22 and 24, 2019.

There’s no need to pay for costly flights over to the U.S this time to watch the big stars in action, as for once the dream team are coming to us (the last time these two sides met in Australia was at the 2000 Sydney Olympics).

With capacity for over 52,000 passionate basketball fans, Etihad Stadium will be turned into an electric NBA style stadium of fun, dunking and good times FOR TWO NIGHTS ONLY.

Let’s cut to the chase here – THIS WILL BE A SELL-OUT event on both nights, so the need to lock in one of these rare as hen’s teeth pre-sale event packages ahead of general admission ticket release is IMMEDIATE! (Basically just book here now).

With eight Aussies lighting it up in the NBA this year, there’s never been a better chance for the Boomers to sneak a win against USA Basketball on home soil.

USA Basketball could bring over NBA legends such as Steph Curry (Golden State Warriors), Paul George (Oklahoma City Thunder), Kyrie Irving (Boston Celtics), James Harden (Houston Rockets), Anthony Davis (New Orleans Pelicans) and everyone’s favourite, Lebron James (LA Lakers).

While our home-grown Allstars could feature the likes of… Ben Simmons (Philadelphia 76’ers), Patty Mills (San Antonio Spurs), Dante Exum (Utah Jazz), Joe Ingles (Utah Jazz), Matthew Dellavedova (Milwaukee Bucks) and Andrew Bogut (Sydney Kings).

It’s worth noting too that the two-game series will be played ahead of the FIBA World Cup in China (31 August – 15 September 2019), and therefore likely to draw in top ‘game legends’ from USA Basketball.
