Wholesalers from Brisbane, Sydney and France recently attended the week-long New Caledonia Tourism Rendez-Vous Workshop 2025, connecting with local partners and experiencing new products and offerings in the island paradise.
Hosted by New Caledonia Tourism, the group of 10 wholesalers met 40 local partners for a full day of speed-dating style meetings and a networking lunch at Elysium restaurant along Anse Vata Beach in Noumea followed by a few days of activities.
The buyers were able to learn about new products and offerings firsthand, staying at Le Meridien Noumea Resort & Spa, Château Royal and Hilton Noumea La Promenade Residences.

Transport company Arc en Ciel brought the group around the capital with site visits to Hotel Beaurivage, Ramada Hotel, Gondwana Hotel, and Hotel Le Lagon.
The Brisbane group also visited the island of Ouvea, which included a site visit to Hotel Le Beaupré before spending the night at Hotel Le Paradis d’Ouvea.

Now fully open to Aussies, the Rendez-Vous Workshop 2025 showcased that the island destination is ready to welcome visitors again after a period of civil unrest and build on a successful 2023 that saw a record number of Australian tourists.

New Caledonia Tourisme Australia Account Director Rebecca Marchal said: “We’re so excited to once again invite our travel trade partners in Australia to discover our beautiful destination and gain a deep understanding of New Caledonia to be able to sell it to their customers.”

“With the support of our valued wholesale partners and New Caledonia Specialists, they can create tailored itineraries for their clients and reassure them that New Caledonia is a safe country to visit.”
Advisors can sign up to become a New Caledonia Specialist and be the first to find out about upcoming famils here.
