Last week saw over 250 agents attend a three-state travel trade roadshow for Visit Anaheim – Brisbane 25 August, Melbourne 26 August and Sydney 27 August.

The week of events wrapped up with a VIP event at the Sydney Seafood Cooking School on Friday 28 August, attended by Visit Anaheim delegates and 28 local travel industry influencers, including the original Bachelor couple Tim Robards and Anna Henrich.


Over 21 delegates from Visit Anaheim attended, including Embassy Suites, Hilton Anaheim, Macy’s and Universal Studios Hollywood.


Promoting tourism to Anaheim and Orange County from Australia has been an important directive for Visit Anaheim, with their team making a deeper investment in this market over the last year.

Anaheim’s downtown area has seen a significant revitalization and revamping of historic structures to create a cultural hub of eclectic artisans, eateries and one- of-a-kind shops.

Downtown areas, the Anaheim Packing District and Center Street Promenade give locals and tourists alike a walkable downtown area that provides modern dining options, live music and entertainment, open outdoor space to relax or play a game of ping pong, weekly Farmer’s Market, among many other fun activities

In 2014, Australia was the third largest market for international visitors choosing to vacation in Orange County – estimating 323k-plus people visit the destination.


Anaheim is the second largest city in Orange County and has some of the area’s most exciting and prestigious attractions, entertainment and sports venues, including Disneyland Park, the Honda Stadium, Angels Stadium and The Grove of Anaheim.
