Evergreen Tours rebrands to Emerald Tours, Scenic Group announces

Evergreen Tours will be renamed Emerald Tours in April 2024, aligning it with sister brand Emerald Cruises, Scenic Group has announced.

Evergreen Tours will be renamed Emerald Tours in April 2024, aligning it with sister brand Emerald Cruises, Scenic Group has announced.

But despite the name change, it will be business as usual for the brand, with Scenic saying Emerald will continue Evergreen Tours’ 40-year history of “delivering exceptional land journeys, value and a unique blend of inclusions, quality, excellence and innovation” for its Australian guests.

With the name change and streamlined branding, travel advisors in other Scenic Group markets including New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States will have access to Emerald Tours’ premium land-touring collection for their clients.

“The rebrand of Evergreen Tours to Emerald Tours offers Australian guests the same excellence and exceptional value land journeys, while opening this premium product to other markets,” Emerald Cruises & Evergreen Tours Director of Sales, Marketing & Product Angus Crichton said.

“For example, Evergreen’s 11-Day Eastern Europe land journey has been one of our best-selling tours for many years, connecting with the Emerald Cruises 15-Day Splendours of Europe river cruise. So thechange of name to Emerald Tours provides a clear brand alignment and is a very natural fit.”

Last year, Scenic Group marked two momentous occasions as the just-launched Discovery Yacht, Scenic Eclipse II, sailed with luxury yacht Emerald Azzurra in Monte Carlo while sister-ship Emerald Sakara had her float-out in Vietnam.

Emerald Cruises announced Kelly Craighead, President and CEO of Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) as the godmother of Emerald Sakara.
