The Australian Travel Industry Association (ATIA) has revealed the finalists for the Business Categories (9-20, 32-34) for this year’s National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA).
Following the announcements of the NTIA finalists for the industry-voted categories (#21-31) and individual categories (#1-8) last week, only the finalists for the Most Outstanding Travel Agency Manager (#2) and Sustainability Categories (#17 and #33) are yet to be announced.
For the latter categories, ATIA is collaborating with a sustainability scientist to review nominee submissions.
The association will reveal the final contenders for the remaining three categories next week.
Nominees for the awards have undergone submission assessment by university-level independent assessors, or been subject to industry voting, over the past few weeks.
“Congratulations to all of our NTIA Finalists! We’ve seen an excellent standard of submissions this year, and it has been a great indicator of the outstanding quality of Australian travel professionals and businesses,” ATIA CEO Dean Long said.
“The quality and professionalism of Travel Businesses in Australia is second to none and the Finalists for this year’s NTIAs exemplify that.
“We’re all looking forward to the biggest weekend in Australian Travel this November 17th and 18th!
“ATIA is excited to see all of our finalists and come together to celebrate all of the individuals and businesses that make our industry great.”
Six weeks to go
NTIA 2023 will take place at the Crown Melbourne on 18 November, with lead-up events kicking off celebrations the night before.
Among these events will be a new networking function at the InterContinental Melbourne and an exclusive finalists-only event at Holey Moley Melbourne CBD.
Tickets for NTIA 2023 went on sale on 10 August. They are available here.
In July, ATIA announced Singapore Airlines as the major sponsor of the event for at least the next two years.
