Sponsored by CVFR Consolidation Services and Viking, two networking events will kick off this year’s National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA) on Friday, 17 November.
Open to all, the first networking function for NTIA 2023 will be held at the InterContinental Melbourne from 5pm to 7pm.
Tickets for this event will be $70 (+GST) for ATIA Individual Members or ATAS-accredited businesses and $120 (+GST) for other industry stakeholders.
According to the Australian Travel Industry Association (ATIA), the first event will be an “early opportunity to catch up with fellow industry professionals, foster partnerships, and form friendships within the sector ahead of the NTIAs”.
The second function will be an NTIA finalists event, taking place at Holey Moley Melbourne CBD from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
A closed event, places will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, with a maximum of two tickets per finalist.
Tickets for both events are $120 (+GST) if the finalist is an ATIA Individual Member or ATAS-accredited business.
If the finalist is a stakeholder only, tickets for both the finalist event and the networking function are $170 (+GST).
More fun
“These events will bring some additional fun to the biggest weekend in Australian travel. We look forward to seeing everyone in Melbourne this November to celebrate our industry together,” ATIA CEO Dean Long said.
“The Holey Moley event will bring our NTIA finalists together for the first time, allowing them to meet and congratulate each other, and celebrate excellence in achieving their finalist nominations.”
Viking managing director Australia and New Zealand, Michelle Black said the cruise company is “excited to co-sponsor the first-ever finalist networking evening as part of this year’s awards ceremony”.
“Sponsoring this event allows us to give the finalists the recognition they deserve for their excellence and commitment to our industry,” she said.
“The Viking team can’t wait to come together with everyone to congratulate and mingle with the awards finalists, have some fun on the golf course, and celebrate in the Viking way!”

Meanwhile, CVFR Consolidation Services Group CEO, Ram Chhabra said, “We are excited to join forces with NTIA to celebrate the travel industry’s best and brightest”.
“The pre-event and awards ceremony serve as a platform to recognise the outstanding achievements and innovation that drive our industry forward,” he remarked.
“The NTIA pre-event and awards ceremony promise to be moments of recognition, inspiration, and networking, and CVFR Consolidation Services is honoured to be a part of these important milestones in the travel industry.”
