Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) has been named among the Top 10 Inspiring Workplaces in Australasia at the 2026 Inspiring Workplaces Awards, also taking out the Enterprise category.

The Brisbane-based travel group landed the Top 10 placing at the 2026 awards, one of Australia and New Zealand’s independent recognitions for organisations that invest in their people.

Alongside the overall placing, FCTG won the Enterprise Inspiring Workplace category and was recognised in the Wellbeing and Culture & Purpose categories.

Independent judges singled out the group’s WISES wellbeing programs as a standout.

WISES has underpinned FCTG’s people strategy for 30 years and takes a holistic approach to employee wellbeing across four pillars.

Those are Healthwise (physical and mental wellbeing), Moneywise (financial wellbeing), Travelwise (a dedicated internal travel agency) and Worldwise (travel and social connection).

Judges noted that 75 per cent of FCTG employees globally accessed WISES programs and services, describing the model as “a coherent philosophy that’s been refined over 30 years” rather than a collection of HR benefits.

Flight Centre Travel Group chief executive officer Graham “Skroo” Turner said the program is a fundamental part of the FCTG business.

“If your people aren’t winning, your business isn’t winning. That’s generally how it works,” he remarked.

“We’re obviously very committed to setting our people up for personal and professional success. It’s central to how we run the business and, typically, it’s what keeps people engaged and motivated over the long term.

“When you support financial health, physical and mental wellbeing, and give people the opportunity to experience the world themselves, you usually end up with better careers and a better business,” he added.
