California-bound Disney fans now have a new place to stay with Pixar Place Hotel now open within Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, full of popular characters from beloved films such as Finding Nemo, Inside Out, Monsters, Inc. and WALL-E.

The transformation of Disneyland Resort’s Paradise Pier Hotel into an immersive new hotel experience marks the first fully Pixar-themed hotel in the US.

The 15-storey, high-rise hotel overlooking Disney California Adventure Park features 479 reimagined guestrooms that celebrate the artistry of Pixar Animation Studios.

This includes two new, two-bedroom themed signature suites: the colourful Coco Suite paying tribute to Miguel and his family through vibrant Oaxacan art and the mid-century modern Incredibles Suite featuring Parr family memorabilia with a spy-fi twist.

Upgraded hotel amenities such as new rooftop recreation areas and an expanded fitness centre also include the redesigned lobby with a large sculpture of the iconic Pixar Lamp.

The Creators Club concierge lounge on the second floor will honour the partnership between Walt Disney Imagineering and Pixar Animation Studios with attraction posters, concept art and music from Pixar experiences in Disney parks around the world.

In-hotel dining options include the ground-floor Great Maple restaurant, The Sketch Pad Café lobby coffee shop and, opening in early March, the Small Bytes rooftop pool bar.

Character artwork and renderings that illustrate stories such as Finding Nemo, Inside Out and Soul are displayed throughout with some created by Pixar Animation Studios artists especially for the hotel.

Character Encounters may also occur at select times including Bing Bong from Inside Out making his debut at the hotel.

Disneyland Resort President Ken Potrock said: “We are looking to turbocharge expansion at Disneyland Resort over the coming years and the transformation of Pixar Place Hotel is a demonstration of how we’re creating high-quality guest experiences infused with our most popular stories.”

Overnight stays at Pixar Place Hotel offer special benefits such as early theme park entry and convenient access to Disney California Adventure Park via a dedicated entrance.
