“Aussies weren’t always getting the best deals”: Kogan Travel launches

Kogan Travel has officially launched, promising Australian holidaymakers the best-in-market deals not available elsewhere.

Kogan Travel has officially launched, promising Australian holidaymakers the best-in-market deals not available elsewhere.

While Kogan Travel technically already existed as part of a collaboration with Luxury Escapes, it has now relaunched for its customers entirely independently.

Looking to provide some of the best deals available, Kogan Travel says it will offer members of its Kogan FIRST program discounts averaging between 10 per cent and 20 per cent on domestic and international hotels, holiday packages and activities, compared to other major online travel aggregators. Time will tell.

Exclusive to Kogan FIRST Members, the new platform is part of Kogan’s ongoing expansion and is the latest service to join the existing suite of Kogan products, which includes mobile plans, insurance, energy and tech deals.

Kogan Travel says many customers will even be able to offset their annual Kogan FIRST membership fee with just one booking. But of course, that will depend on the value of the booking.

Spokesperson Ron Gelberg says Kogan’s mission is to provide “remarkable value for our shoppers”.

“Part of this is finding new and better ways to reward our most loyal customers, FIRST members. Kogan Travel is no different,” he stated.

“Our intel showed us that Aussies weren’t always getting the best deals using the usual sites. Our platform has uncovered discounts that can’t be found anywhere else, giving members exclusive access to hundreds of dollars worth of savings on their holidays.

“As it grows, we’ll be offering more and more destinations and deals, ensuring that Aussies journeying domestically or internationally can rely on Kogan Travel as their first stop before booking.”
