All aboard: APT unveils new 2025 Australian luxury experiences

Tour and cruise operator APT has announced its 2025 Australia program, setting sail with two new cruising experiences and a $5 million refurbishment to the group's Mitchell Falls Wilderness Lodge.

Tour and cruise operator APT has announced its 2025 Australia program, setting sail with two new cruising experiences and a $5 million refurbishment to the group’s Mitchell Falls Wilderness Lodge.

A new addition to APT’s Australia 2025 program is the Seabourn Pursuit, a luxury ship with all-veranda suites, fine dining and an dedicated expedition team for exploring the Kimberley coast.

The 11-day Kimberley Coastal Expedition aboard Seabourn Pursuit is priced at $13,895 per person, which includes savings of up to $4,600 per couple. Additionally, selected cabin upgrades are available at 40 per cent off.

As part of the luxury cruise, passengers undertake daily zodiac excursions with meals and beverages included and an APT cruise director on board.

The PS Australian Star, a luxurious paddle steamer crafted with Murray River Paddlesteamers, will debut in 2025 with the 8-day Retreat to the Murray. Locally built in Mildura, this wood-fired vessel journeys along the tranquil Murray River, complete with three decks, the Randell dining restaurant and Hopwood Lounge.

The starting price for the package is $7,995 per person, which includes savings up to $1,000 per couple.

APT also offers 4WD adventures in the Kimberley and Outback led by expert driver-guides. The 15-day Kimberley Complete costs $13,495 per person, with two-night stays at APT’s three exclusive Wilderness Lodges.

Travellers can also explore the Outback with the 11-day Cooktown and Cape York tour, priced at $8,895 per person, twin share. This small group tour is limited to 20 guests and includes an expert APT Driver and Tour Director.
