If you think Wendy Wu Tours is almost unrecognisable to the company it was 18 months ago, then you’re in for a bit of a shock when it rolls out additional changes in the next six months.
The NTIA award winning Asia specialist has outdone itself over the past year-and-a-half with the release of new logos, a revolutionary booking site, new tailormade options and new-look brochures.
But the hard work continues, according to the company’s Founder, who said these changes are only the beginning of big things to come.
In a recent chat with KarryOn, the woman behind the niche travel company, Wendy Wu, said the business is at the start of an evolution to become the Travel Agent’s go-to operator for China and beyond.
Wu revealed that early next year, the company will relaunch its Travel Agent booking platform with extensive features that’ll allow consultants to search through tour options as well as individual flights, accommodation, day tours, transfers and more.
Wendy Wu Tours is essentially becoming a GDS for China and beyond.
“If a travel Agent is looking for just flights, then they can come to us. If they want a stopover day tour to see the Terracotta, we’ll be able to organise it.”

“We want to become the one stop shop for China and beyond, where no order is too small,” Wu said.
The prominent travel figure said Wendy Wu Tours has the expertise to assist Agents, whether it’s by narrowing down the growing number of flights options to Asia, choosing the right cities for their clients and more.
“Our goal is to make travel to Asia easy for Travel Agents.”
