LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION: HELLOWORLD the TV show airs to thousands of Aussies

Helloworld Travel made its television debut on Sunday afternoon when the first episode of its travel series with Channel 9, 'Helloworld', aired to thousands of Australian viewers.

Helloworld Travel made its television debut on Sunday afternoon when the first episode of its travel series with Channel 9, ‘Helloworld’, aired to thousands of Australian viewers.

Australian sweetheart, Bec Hewitt, along with a crew of other local celebrities helped launch Helloworld the series as one that focuses on exploring “some of the most diverse and exotic destinations around the globe”.

Throughout the first series, viewers were exposed to well-known and less-explored images from the South Pacific to Italy and even, right here in Australia.

Setting itself apart from existing travel shows, Helloworld retained viewer attention by overlaying each segment with upbeat and modern tunes, while providing local tips and advice on how to achieve the one thing all travellers look for these days, an immersive experience.

Steve Jacobs used his time in Port Vila to educate Aussies on where to go to “touch the heart of Vanuatu” and learn about cannibalism, while Sonia Kruger demonstrated the most peaceful way to see Canada’s Lake Louise – via a canoe. From there, it was onwards to Europe to try chocolate eclairs with Vince Sorrenti in Paris’ oldest patissier with Insight Vacations, and Bec Hewitt brought us back home to show us “how to holiday the Aussie way” in Hamilton Island.

As promised by Helloworld Travel’s leaders, the show was used as a platform to promote the use of Travel Agents through exclusive deals such as the $1,349 per adult offer for return airfares to Vanuatu and six nights accommodation with breakfast at the Warwick Le Lagon Resort & Spa.
