According to Roger Federer, Switzerland’s natural scenery isn’t perfect, but it’s pretty close to it.

(Do you think he’s a little bit of a perfectionist?)

The friendly tennis star explains to Switzerland Tourism that he always travelled around his homeland growing up and still loves taking domestic trips, whatever the time of year.

According to Switzerland Tourism, he hasn’t seen every corner of Switzerland just yet, and there are still so many places he wants to explore.

Roger Federer “needs Switzerland” and believes that his home country’s unique landscapes give him the energy boost he needs for every strenuous rally in his challenging career.

On the Switzerland Tourism website, Roger Federer shares his inside tips and knowledge on the very best places to get out and explore, including Hidden Gems, Refreshing Breaks, City Experiences and Hiking Trails.

The chances of meeting the tennis ace in person would actually be pretty good, were it not for the fact that Switzerland has over 65,000 kilometres of hiking trails!

With this fun new series of visuals and short clips, you can expect to see and hear Roger highlighting the beauty of Switzerland and giving personal advice on how to become energised by Swiss nature.

And, let’s face it, we could all benefit from being energised by that fresh Swiss mountain air right about now.
