Luxury and expedition cruise line, Silversea, has announced the addition of a ‘Super Advantage’ tier on its group bookings for travel advisors.
SVP Global Sales Massimo Brancaleoni said there has never been a better time for Silversea’s travel partners to invite their clients to experience industry-leading offers.
“This enhancement represents our unwavering commitment to our valued community of travel partners, who have long constituted our most important sales channel,” he shared in a statement.
Under the newly introduced tier, if seven guests pay the full fare on select sailings, the eighth guest is eligible to sail for free. In addition, the booking includes a shipboard credit of USD 300 per suite and a commission of at least 15 per cent within the cruise company’s terms.
Silversea is also offering travel advisors a 120-day price protection guarantee and no deposit is required to open group bookings, which can be combined with other savings programs.
For travel advisors to meet each tier, the following is required:
Super Advantage
- Book seven full-paying passengers, and the eighth sails for free
- USD 300 shipboard credit per suite
- Minimum 15% commission*
- Price protection: 120 days from group opening
Advantage
- Book nine full-paying passengers, and the tenth sails for free
- USD 300 shipboard credit per suite
- Minimum 15% commission*
- Price protection: 120 days from group opening
Standard
- Book 11 full-paying passengers, and the twelfth sails for free
- USD 300 shipboard credit per suite
- Standard commission applies
- Price protection: 120 days from group opening
Reserve
- Book 15 full-paying passengers, and the sixteenth sails for free
- USD 200 shipboard credit per suite
- Standard commission applies
- Price protection: 120 days from group opening
- For new Summer 2025 & Winter 2025/2026 sailings, group bookings made by 31 January 2024 will receive an extended price protection of 180 days for travel partners.
In September, Silversea announced a new agent-only Sell & Sail incentive to promote sales of its Australia and New Zealand ocean cruises in Q1 2024.
