Three FCTG Independent travel advisors will join a famil with The Travel Corporation Tour Brands, the group has announced.

The travel advisors won their places on the exclusive FCTG famil in recognition of being the top three sellers of TTC Tour Brands products between 1 March and 30 April 2023.

The incentive was created exclusively for Flight Centre Travel Group, which includes FCTG Independent, Flight Centre and Travel Associates, and was met with “overwhelming enthusiasm” from FCTG Independent’s network of more than 400 agents and agencies.

The 13-day famil will tour France and Spain in August, taking in iconic sights such as the Eiffel Tower and Sagrada Familia.

The three FCTG Independent winners are Bradley Rowland of HBA Travel, Teresa Petrocco of Travel Partners Box Hill and Briony Thomas of Tailored Travel & Cruise.

“I’ve always been a big supporter of The Travel Corporation. I’ve been lucky enough to travel with Insight, Trafalgar and Contiki, so I’ve experienced the product and understand the amazing experiences and value they offer clients,” Thomas said.

“I have been blown away by the level of support available for Travel Partners, whether it’s assistance with ticketing, reissues or information on COVID-19 travel restrictions, there is a system for everything.”

Invaluable experience

FCTG Independent Australia General Manager Nick Queale said, “We are thrilled to see our independent travel consultants engaging so well with the incentives we are providing”.

“The network gets the opportunity to receive exclusive rewards, suppliers benefit from increased sales, and clients have the chance to enjoy remarkable travel experiences.”

FCTG Independent says its incentives improve agents’ ability to service clients and ultimately enhance their income. They also enable them to connect with suppliers and gain invaluable first-hand experience.

Last month, FCTG Independent wrapped up its quarterly adventure travel incentive, with 14 travel advisors awarded a bunch of trips courtesy of incentive partners Intrepid Travel, Adventure World Travel and G Adventures.

FCTG Independent Australia’s first overseas conference in three years also took place in April, with the event hailed a resounding success. Read our wrap of the event Karryon attended.
