Friday Cocktail: Whisky Sour

Tomorrow is World Whisky Day, which is all about making whisky fun and enjoyable. And the good news is -  you can drink it however you enjoy it (ice, water, mixer – whatever works for you).

Tomorrow is World Whisky Day, which is all about making whisky fun and enjoyable. And the good news is –  you can drink it however you enjoy it (ice, water, mixer – whatever works for you).

Tomorrow is World Whisky Day and with the liquor becoming increasingly popular among Aussies (Dan Murphy’s reporting on an increase in sale of eight percent year on year) there’s reason to celebrate.

To get in on today’s celebrations all you need is a bottle of whisky from anywhere in the world to share with your friends.

For those of you who are looking for a whisky cocktail we’ve selected the classic ‘Whisky Sour’ which dates back to 1870.

The mixed drink might not be regarded as the most sophisticated and elegant cocktail out there however if it was good enough for Earnest Hemingway it sure is good for us.
