Imagine it. Waking up to the sound of a whale breaching outside your luxuriously appointed suite as you sail through Antarctica. Delving below the ocean’s surface on a custom-built submarine^, or flying above the most spectacular destinations in the world, on board one of the two helicopters^. Enjoy wellness in the Senses Spa and knowing your butler will remember it’s ‘whiskey, no ice’ at the end of a day.

There’s an incredible feeling that comes from travelling around the world. In 2022, wanderlust is back on the agenda, with travellers seeking truly luxurious journeys and indulgent moments to create memories of a lifetime.

With two Discovery Yachts, Scenic will take your clients further than ever before.

With perfect timing, Scenic has just made two announcements. The launch of Scenic Eclipse II in early 2023, is part of Scenic’s greatest number of destinations released in its 37-year history, which now also includes Australia and the South Pacific region.

With two Discovery Yachts, Scenic will take your clients further than ever before. In 2023 and 2024, the two Discovery Yachts will set to sail into 357 ports, on 85 voyages in 54 countries and all seven continents. There are journeys to the furthest reaches of Antarctica, through the unique archipelago of Indonesia, into the historical lands of Scotland, and to pristine and perfect Polynesia.

The most anticipated Discovery Voyage will be in 2024, when Scenic Eclipse II will sail into Australian waters for the very first time. The Discovery Yacht will sail up the east coast of New South Wales and Queensland for the Chairman’s Voyage, along the Top End, and then into the breathtakingly beautiful Kimberley region in Western Australia. This is truly a new era in worldwide discovery and ultra-luxury cruising.

It’s More Than Luxury… It’s 6-star Ultra-Luxury

On board Scenic Eclipse, it’s taking a culinary journey in one of 10 dining experiences. Maybe tonight’s the night you’re cordially invited for a private degustation dinner curated by Corporate Executive Chef Tom Gotter. Or perhaps you’ll dine with friends you’ve made during the day’s excursions at the stylish Sushi @ Koko’s restaurant.

Scenic’s truly all-inclusive philosophy means everything has been thought of. All meals, unlimited premium beverages*, including the choice of over 100 whiskeys in the sophisticated Whiskey Bar. Onshore experiences, the daily re-stocking of your mini-bar, and even a complimentary polar jacket if you travel to Antarctica or the Arctic.

A New Discovery in Antarctica

Discover a world of exquisite natural beauty, in truly all-inclusive ultra-luxury.

Since Scenic Eclipse’s maiden voyage in 2019, the Discovery Yacht has become synonymous with incredible Expedition Voyages in the Polar regions. In 2023 and 2024, Scenic are expanding their White Continent offering. The major shift is the arrival of the first ever fly-cruise voyages, which will see guests fly straight into the heart of Antarctica where Scenic Eclipse will be waiting – perfect for the time poor traveller. Another new voyage option includes venturing even further cruising Beyond the Antarctic Circle.

Once on board, it’s straight into exploration mode. Each guest receives a complimentary parka that is layered to keep guests warm in these icy conditions. Then, it’s time to explore with the world-class Discovery Team.

The Discovery Team are at the heart of Scenic Eclipse’s worldwide voyages. Each are experts within their field, ranging from biologists, glaciologist, naturalists, marine biologist, and historians. Each share their unique insights into regions like Antarctica, and are on hand for exciting excursions, like Zodiac cruises, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, guided nature walks or spectacular wildlife moments.

What stands Scenic Eclipse apart in these parts is the ship design. In Antarctica, size matters. Site visits are currently limited to 100 guests at a time, so Scenic Eclipse keeps guest levels to just 200 to ensure multi-day landings – unlike ships with larger guest numbers. GPS Dynamic Positioning also means Scenic Eclipse never has to drop an anchor, so can venture into remote areas of this remarkable region, with unrestricted access to the likes of South Georgia.

The Unique Wonders of Australia

Discover the beauty of the Queensland coastline, with swaying coconut palms, turquoise waters and white sand beaches.

Picture the moment. Scenic Eclipse sails into the Whitsundays. At the iconic Whitehaven Beach, guests disembark and venture onto the white sands, where an exclusive picnic lunch awaits. Reserved only for Scenic guests, this is a moment many will never forget. When Scenic Eclipse sails into Australian waters for the very first time in 2024, there will undoubtedly be a sense of celebration. Each itinerary includes extraordinary moments to truly get to the heart of these incredible destinations.

The Chairman’s Voyage is just one of many exceptional itineraries. Scenic guests will sail the coastline of Queensland, exploring Fraser Island and many of the 900 islands that are scattered through these idyllic waters. In the Kimberley region, Scenic Eclipse will be visiting some of the country’s most incredible natural wonders. The Horizontal Falls near Broome, the wildly beautiful Montgomery Reef, and Willis and Lacepede Islands.

Scenic is well-versed in creating wonder moments. Each itinerary is filled with exceptional onshore experiences, named Scenic Discovery, Scenic Enrich or Scenic Freechoice. The abundance of experiences ensures there’s something for everyone, and each can be pursued at a pace that suits each guest.
