Eat your way around Asia, India and Europe under the guidance of Australia’s culinary experts on an unforgettable gourmet journey that includes exclusive foodie experiences you’ll remember forever.

In a delicious partnership that’s guaranteed to get your mouth drooling and stomach gurgling, APT has once again joined forces with Gourmet Traveller – Australia’s leading food, wine and travel magazine – and designed five tailor-made tours for 2018.

These exclusive new tours contain everything APT is already famous for (e.g., fully-inclusive touring with all sightseeing, most meals, and unforgettable APT experiences) with a special focus on uncovering a destination’s culinary highlights.

A member of the Gourmet Traveller team (including the editor, travel editor, chief restaurant critic) will host these tours and be with your clients every step of the way, helping them uncover a destination’s culinary awesomeness through their invaluable knowledge and exclusive Gourmet Traveller experiences.

This unique partnership is exclusive to APT and the folks over at Gourmet Traveller, and the five new tours for 2018 have your foodie clients’ names written all over them! (Click here to download the brochure.)

We’ll fill you in on all the delicious details concerning the Europe tours in a future article, but for now, let’s look at what awaits your clients in China and India with APT and Gourmet Traveller in 2018.

Hosted by Pat Nourse, Gourmet Traveller Managing Editor and Chief Restaurant Critic, guests travelling on this 13 day culinary adventure from Beijing to Shanghai will journey through the best bits of China and stay in luxurious accomodation, enjoy 32 meals and set sail on a four-night cruise along the mighty Yangtze river.

They’ll also be able to enjoy another cruise around Beijing’s Summer Palace in a traditional vessel, which is an APT Signature Experience.

On the food front, apart from feasting on those included 32 meals, guests will delight in a couple of gourmet experiences, such as an exclusive private lunch with free-flowing local drinks on a rarely visited stretch of the Great Wall of China, and indulge in an authentic Peking Duck banquet served with all the traditional accompaniments in Beijing.

Guests travelling on this incredible Indian itinerary will be hosted by Gourmet Traveller’s Travel Editor, Helen Anderson, and taken on a 15 day tour around this colourful country from Kochi in the south to New Delhi in the north.

Along the way, they’ll experience a seven-night rail journey aboard the elegant Deccan Odyssey, tuck into 38 included meals (with complimentary beverages served on board the train with lunch and dinner), and unique APT Signature Experiences.

The gourmet experiences included in this trip are an exclusive and private lunch overlooking the incredible Taj Mahal, and the opportunity to visit the home of a local family in New Delhi to enjoy a cooking demonstration followed by lunch.

So has this got your stomach churning yet?!
