Sneak peek: outdoor spaces on Crystal Grace, the line's first new-build ship in 25 years

Crystal has revealed a first look at some of its family and outdoor spaces on Crystal Grace, ahead of its 2028 debut.

Crystal Grace, the newest ship from Abercrombie & Kent-owned Crystal says it will have the largest teen space and the largest pool in the line’s fleet when it hits the high seas in 2028.

She will have 337 suites, each with a butler, curated pillow menu and Italian bed linen. The majority of suites will be Aquamarine Veranda Suites, which have a vanity area, sofa and veranda, with some having a separate shower and bathtub, or walk-in closet.

The ship will have the largest pool in the Crystal fleet, with 140 loungers spread across Decks 10 and 11 and a large outdoor LED screen for sporting events, destination programming and evening film screenings.

For the first time on a Crystal ship, Crystal Grace introduces 60 private cabanas on Deck 11 overlooking the pool. A new poolside bar sits midship on Deck 10, directly behind the main pool.

The family and youth spaces

Deck 11 also houses a dedicated open-air youth area with a shallow pool and outdoor recreational games, alongside the expanded Waves Teen Centre for guests aged 13 to 17, the largest teen venue in the fleet.

The teen centre has an entertainment lounge with an oversized gaming screen, card and board game areas, and a music and dance space with a sound system and dance floor. A refreshed Fantasia Children’s Playroom serves children aged 3 to 12 with supervised and drop-off programming, and in-room babysitting continues fleet-wide.

Crystal recently announced four dedicated ‘Wellness at Sea’ retreats planned for 2027 aboard Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony.

The cruise line has operated under Abercrombie & Kent Travel Group ownership since 2022, following a A$244 million refurbishment of Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony.
