Hotels.com continues to equip travellers with the latest technology by launching Australia’s first hotel booking app to be compatible with wearable technology.
With Hotels.com revealing its newly launched Android app it’s now possible to keep track of your hotel bookings with just a quick glance at your wrist watch.
The new invention is Australia’s first travel app to be compatible with wearable technology and will enable travellers who are using smart watch devices to access accommodation booking details directly from their smart phone or wrist.

Hotels.com’s existing Android app allows users to receive helpful reminders before checking-in to their hotel directly on their wrist, which means no having to pull out travel wallets, phones or itineraries. Notifications are sent at 2pm on the day of check-in with customers able to see full reservation details as well as hotel images, address and maps (opens on user phone).
Hotels.com will continue to invest in wearable technology ensuring it stays at the forefront of cutting edge technology. In the future, additional notifications will be provided as further content is added to the app.
