Travellers Choice boosts bicoastal business partners with new NSW and WA agencies

Travellers Choice continues to swell its ranks of independent agency members with the addition of two businesses in New South Wales and Western Australia that were attracted by the group’s national network and new membership packages.

Port Macquarie-based How We Travel owner Lauren Howard established her agency in 2016 after working as a travel advisor for more than 15 years.

How We Travel services customers across Australia, which was one of the reasons she was attracted to Travellers Choice.

“I can choose from a complete suite of digital marketing services and have access to TC One online booking platform that includes a fully supported B2C website solution,” she said.

“These marketing and technology solutions are going to be vital as I rebuild the business over the next 12 months.”

WA’s Midland Travel owner Vicky Johnston was also looking to rebuild her business post-pandemic.

After operating in Midland for 22 years, she recently relocated to a purpose-built office on her Swan Valley property.

“The new location provides excellent exposure because Midland and Perth-bound traffic pass right past the property,” she said.

“While our business is predominately repeat and referral, we have recently seen an influx of new customers and now we are now centrally located.”

Ms Johnston said she was looking for a new direction as she rebuilt her business.

“Before the pandemic, I never had the time to work on the business, I was too busy working in it. Travellers Choice was the right fit for me in terms of where I want to take the agency.”

“It’s reassuring to know I can quickly connect with a business development manager who has the knowledge and experience to help me overcome challenges.”

Travellers Choice General Manager – Sales Nicola Strudwick said by allowing independent agencies to choose their level of support, the group’s three new membership packages are helping to drive post-pandemic growth.

“Independent businesses need to be flexible and adaptable in the current operating environment and our new membership packages allow them to be just that.”
