TTC Tour Brands and Flight Centre Australia and New Zealand have wrapped their ‘Roar & Soar’ sales incentive, sending top-performing Australian and New Zealand travel advisors on a seven-night South African safari across Cape Town and Kruger National Park.
The reward trip recognised advisors who drove strong sales across TTC Tour Brands’ portfolio, including Contiki, Trafalgar (river cruises included), Costsaver and Insight Vacations.
The seven-night itinerary paired Cape Town’s city and coast with big-game viewing in Kruger, hosted on the ground by the Contiki and Trafalgar brands.
The format gave winning advisors direct experience of two very different guided-travel styles under one operator, useful context when matching clients to the right brand.

What advisors experienced
Highlights spanned urban exploration, cultural immersion and wildlife viewing.
The group summited Table Mountain for panoramic views over Cape Town, took part in a hands-on cooking class combining food and dancing, and joined a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER Experience in the township of Langa.
That Langa visit featured a guided walking tour, a local lunch and time with the Amy Foundation, which supports local youth in need.
The wildlife peak came in Kruger National Park, where the group tracked the Big Five and had a sunrise encounter with a pride of more than 10 lions walking past their vehicle.

What the hosts said
“In all my years in travel, this was the most incredible fam I have ever hosted, seamlessly showcasing the strengths of both Contiki and Trafalgar,” says TTC Tour Brands Queensland sales manager Claire Simon.
“From standing atop Table Mountain and participating in a moving Make Travel Matter Experience with the Amy Foundation, to spotting the Big Five in Kruger National Park, South Africa truly stays in your heart.”

Europ Assistance (Flight Centre Travel Insurance) partnership manager Simon Small said, “Just after sunrise in Kruger National Park, we came across a pride of more than ten lions walking casually down the road right toward us.”
“Sitting in absolute silence with no other vehicles around was one of the most breathtaking wildlife encounters I’ve ever experienced,” he added.
Last month, TTC Tour Brands announced it would guarantee 100% definite departures across Trafalgar, Insight Vacations and Costsaver for tours through to 30 September 2026.
KARRYON UNPACKS: Reward famils double as product training, and pairing Contiki with Trafalgar on one trip shows advisors how the same operator can serve very different clients. With guided long-haul demand holding up, South Africa’s safari-and-city combination gives sellers an easy story for buyers looking beyond the usual Bali or New Zealand break.
