Helloworld Business Travel (HWBT) brought its owners and managers together last weekend in Singapore for the 2024 HWBT Forum, themed “Connect & Grow”.
Over three days, attendees delved into business insights, collaboration and actionable peer advice.
Highlights included a tech-focused panel on the “Future of Travel Technology” featuring Sabre, Travelport, Avanoa and Magnatech, as well as a session on productivity improvements led by Magnatech.
Industry heavyweights Qantas, Virgin Australia, United Airlines and Travelport also joined an expert air panel exploring the future of business travel.
Evening events shone too, with gatherings at The Garage, The Riverhouse and a farewell dinner at Tea Room Raffles, creating ample networking opportunities.
Senior Helloworld executives, including CEO Andrew Burnes AO, shared updates, joined by inspirational keynote speaker Kelly Cartwright OAM.
Other speakers included Helloworld Group GM Retail Networks Nick Sutherland, GM Commercial Stan Scott, GM Consolidation Rohan Moss, GM Cruise Steve Brady, GM Wholesale Sales (Viva Holidays and Ready Rooms) Peter Douglas and Cruise My Way Travel & Events CEO Simon Lethlean.
The Singapore showcase wrapped with a strong focus on connection and growth – perfectly aligning with HWBT’s 2024 theme.
Helloworld Business Travel GM Kellie Stanbury said, “It was exciting to connect with loyal HWBT network members”, some of whom have been part of the group for more than 40 years.
“Content for the forum was carefully curated based on feedback from and a network wide survey and partners and presenters were briefed accordingly, meaning that sessions were relevant and inspired meaningful conversations that are forming the future strategy and growth aspirations for members,” she stated.
“This intimate gathering allowed for memorable experiences and deepened relationships across our partners and members.
“Thank you to the HWBT preferred partners in attendance for their support of the forum.”
Helloworld Travel’s recent Frontliners Forum brought together over 500 travel agents and supplier partners from Australia and New Zealand to Singapore for four days of networking, learning and, of course, a lot of little fun. Read our wrap of that event.
