This week, Alexa Papoulias joined luxury tour company Abercrombie & Kent as its new NSW/ACT Regional Sales Manager, following the retirement of Beth Ellicott after almost 27 years with the company.
Susan Haberle, Head of Sales and Partnerships at A&K Australia, acknowledged the contribution of Beth Ellicott to the A&K team.
“Beth will leave a great legacy in her regions having built strong trade partnerships over the years and has been an integral part of A&K’s success,” she said.
Alexa joined the sales team on Monday, 23 October. She comes to A&K with a wealth of industry knowledge and expertise, having most recently been in the role of NSW/ACT State Manager for the Globus family of brands, including Globus, Cosmos and Avalon.
“Alexa has very strong relationships with trade partners in NSW/ACT at a local and state level which puts her in great stead for our role,” said Susan Haberle, Head of Sales and Partnerships at A&K Australia.
Alexa’s main responsibilities will be to maintain and grow NSW/ACT trade sales, to proactively support trade partners in NSW/ACT to grow their A&K business and to educate and build awareness of all A&K Travel Styles and product offerings.
The announcement was made to local NSW trade at A&K’s recent Sydney roadshow at the Art Gallery of NSW.
