AAT Kings has announced the news that industry veteran Troy Ackerman has been appointed to the role of Head of Sales & Revenue at AAT Kings on a 12-month contract.

AAT Kings has announced the news that industry veteran Troy Ackerman has been appointed to the role of Head of Sales & Revenue at AAT Kings on a 12-month contract.

Ackerman joins AAT Kings with more than 20 years of industry experience across Australian, New Zealand and UK markets.

After spending 15 years specialising in Guided Holidays after starting his career with Contiki, Ackerman then became Head of Sales with the Globus family of brands in Australia before being promoted to GM of New Zealand, where he stayed for 7 years.

Having relocated back to Sydney in 2019 as GM of Wendy Wu Australia, he has most recently been with Collette as Director of Strategic Partnerships.

On his appointment, Troy said, “I am absolutely rapt to be joining the team at AAT Kings, an iconic brand that I’ve always had a huge amount of respect for.

“I can’t wait to get stuck in, reconnect with our trade partners, and help AAT Kings continue on their impressive trajectory, highlighting two of the world’s best destinations, both of which are very close to my heart.”

Troy starts in his role this week and will be based out of AAT Kings’ Alexandria office and will be responsible for consortia and trade relationships, contact centre and reservations.
