Polar travel experts Quark Expeditions joined forces with IMAX Melbourne to sponsor the premiere of the BBC Earth documentary Antarctica 3D, narrated by Benedict Cumberbatch.
With never-before-seen footage and the latest underwater filming techniques, Antarctica 3D reveals the wild majesty of the White Continent where weird and wonderful creatures thrive amid the coldest, driest and windiest place on Earth.
Narrated by popular British actor Benedict Cumberbatch, the breathtaking BBC Earth doco goes beneath the sea ice to observe the abundant marine life from humpback whales and playful seals to penguin colonies and purple starfish.
IMAX General Manager Richard Morrison opened the event and Quark Expeditions Asia Pacific Business Development Manager Tenille Hunt was joined by Polar Travel Advisors Monize Diniz and Alana Lewthwaite to launch the spectacular 3D film with a short presentation to a select group of partners.
