Often called ‘The New York of Canada’, Toronto wows with its electrifying vibes, diverse activities, and buzzing nightlife – without the Manhattan price tag.

We took it upon ourselves to go through accommodation wholesaler STUBA’s entire property list to track down T.O.’s trendiest hotel.

With nearly 150 Toronto properties on offer, we had plenty we could rave about (notable mention to Ivy at Verity) but we had to tell you about the opulent and exceedingly cool 96-room Bisha Hotel.

ROCK ON ROOMS

Aarghhh, it was impossible to not feel in awe when we found out rock god Lenny Kravitz designed a floor at the Bisha! Yup, the four-time Grammy winner took time out of his busy ‘being a legend’ schedule to infuse his star quality into 14 rooms and suites.

Given free reign, he and his Kravitz Design team (he has an interior design business? Who knew!) Lenny created a soulful, glamorous aesthetic with black wood, brass features, and burnt orange upholstery. It’s as if you are getting a dose of rock god with every nights’ sleep. Of course, the rest of this 4-star property also measures up, with black marble, crushed black velveteen, and hip pop-art décor throughout.

LET ME ENTERTAIN YOU

The Bisha is smack-bang in the middle of Toronto’s hottest neighbourhood, the Entertainment District. This is where you go to catch a show, see a game, hit a club or whizz to the top of the iconic CN Tower. Everything good happens here. It’s also a minute’s walk to the nearest LRT station for complete Toronto accessibility. And the best thing? No matter how many Canadian Caesars you’ve had, the 44-story Bisha Hotel acts as a beacon to get you home!

AT ANY KOST

We’ve already given Kost a shout out in our Taste of Toronto article, as this high-vibing restaurant is one of the city’s best. On the top floor of the Bisha, Kost is a cracking spot for all-day dining, especially if you’re into brunch, cocktails and killer views.

While there are two other restaurants at the Bisha (including the acclaimed Japanese-Korean Akira Black), Kost wins our vote with its ‘perfectly cool’ ambiance. The light wood design, airy coastal vibes, and panoramic views complement the Baja California inspired eats and creative cocktail list. What’s not to love?

MIGHT AS WELL(NESS)

Fancy a swim in the clouds? Also on the 44th floor, you’ll find the Bisha’s divine infinity pool and rooftop terrace. Seriously, it’s like the place is trying to keep you from exploring Toronto’s streets. We know we should work off the French Made pastries at the 24/7 gym but we’re more likely to hang in the steam room and sweat them out instead.

LET SLEEPING DOGS LIE (IN)

While you’re probably not flying your pooch over with you to Toronto, it makes us feel warm and fuzzy knowing that we could bump into our favourite four-legged friends around the place. Pets are not only welcome but also treated as expertly as the Bisha’s bipedal guests.

STUBA-LICIOUS

While we have been singing this amazing hotel praises, STUBA understands that most people when booking a hotel will head straight to Trip Advisor. Who can blame them? Although sometimes all this does is confuse the good, the bad and the ugly and most people end up remembering the ugly.

With the STUBA platform, it trawls multiple review sites as well as pull information from Social Media to give you the most accurate reviews. Quite simply, it understands what customers want and that’s simply a perfect holiday.
