Meet Sailor: the newest and definitely cutest Royal Caribbean crew member. The new Chief Dog Officer will board RCI’s newest ship Star of the Seas, setting sail in the Caribbean in August 2025.

Sailor follows in the pawprints of Rover, the Chief Dog Officer on Icon of the Seas.

She will be ready to make her own waves as the next Chief Dog Officer at sea when Star debuts in August 2025 from Port Canaveral (Orlando), Florida.

Her official duties are to live her best life and bring joy to cruise guests and crew aboard Star of the Seas

Sailor can look forward to nonstop playtime on the Caribbean’s most beautiful beaches, including RCI’s private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay, and call the dog-friendliest room ever home.

The program is built in partnership with the American Humane Society to ensure the best care and training for all CDOs.

While Sailor waits for Star of the Seas to set sail, she is sleeping on the job but fits the vibe check.
