Guests at this year’s National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA) are in for a big weekend, with tickets for the annual event breaking an attendance record.
Calling the response to ticket sales “exceptional”, the Australian Travel Industry Association (ATIA) said sales for this year’s event have surpassed NTIA 2022, with over 1,300 tickets snapped up.
Returning to Melbourne for the first time in nearly 20 years, NTIA 2023 will take place at the Palladium at Crown on 18 November.
Whilst tickets for the NTIA gala dinner have sold out, there are still places available for the networking and exclusive finalist events on 17 November.
Earlier this month, ATIA announced that Viking and CVFR Consolidation Services would co-sponsor the two networking events that will kick off NTIA. Viking will also sponsor the official afterparty celebration.

“We’re thrilled to announce that NTIA 2023 is officially sold out, exceeding last year’s attendance with over 1,300 tickets snapped up,” ATIA CEO Dean Long said.
“The enthusiasm and overwhelming support for NTIA 2023 has been incredible. This record-breaking attendance reflects the resilience and determination of our industry, and we couldn’t be more excited to come together in Melbourne to recognize and celebrate the achievements of our travel professionals.
“There’s still a few remaining tickets to be secured for those still looking to get involved in the pre-NTIA events on Friday the 17th November. We can’t wait to see you there!”
In July, ATIA announced Singapore Airlines as the major sponsor of the NTIAs for at least the next two years.
