The Magellan Group Affiliated travel agency group famous for giving its long-term employees diamonds (among other things of course) has just received incredible recognition as one of Australia’s ‘biggest private firms’.
Spencer Travel sneaked in at number 497 on IBISWorld’s life of ‘Australia’s Biggest 500 Private Companies’, a position Penny herself couldn’t be more proud of.
In a statement to KarryOn, the Founder said it’s such a thrill to see the business on the list of successful private firms, which also featured household names such as Lorna Jane, Tennis Australia, 7Eleven, Sydney Fish Market, Greyhound Australia and more.

“It’s amazing to think that the business I founded in 1998 has grown so much,” Penny said.
“We enjoy an enviable circumstance of long-term, loyal customers and staff.
“Making this list is recognition that we’re doing things right, and that my team is quite simply the best in the business.”
