The 2023 National Travel Industry Awards (NTIAs) festival begins tonight with two networking functions before the main event kicks off tomorrow at Crown Melbourne Palladium, concluding with a late-night Afterparty at The Palms nightclub. Missed all that’s going on? We’ve got you covered.
Happening in Melbourne for the first time in 20 years, the sold-out NTIA’s on Saturday will recognise the outstanding individuals and businesses shaping the landscape of the Australian travel industry, with more than 1,300 tickets snapped up.
We’ve all heard it said before, but seriously, this year’s NTIAs will be bigger than ever. Here’s why.
The fun begins on Friday night this year
In another first, this year, the new format ultra-travel marathon weekend will begin on Friday, 17 November, with a first networking function for NTIA 2023 at the InterContinental Melbourne from 5-7pm, sponsored by CVFR Consolidation Services and Viking.
Then let the games begin! A second exclusive (but casual) networking function for NTIA finalists will occur afterwards at Holey Moley Melbourne CBD from 7.30 – 9.30 pm, also sponsored by CVFR Consolidation Services and Viking.
Onto Saturday night and the big one
The hype is real because the big one has finally arrived, and no, we’re not talking about Lehmo’s moustache.
All roads will lead to the Crown Melbourne Palladium for the industry’s 2023 night of nights on Saturday, 18 November, for the 2023 National Travel Industry Awards.
The glamour parade begins at 6 pm on the NTIA Red Carpet with pre-award drinks and excited catch-ups en masse. Look out for yours truly interviewing some of the frocked-up crowd for their thoughts and picks for the night.
The official proceedings and sit-down Gala Awards dinner will begin at 7.00 pm sharp. Find your table early on the seating planner and get ready to celebrate.
CVFR Consolidation Services are also sponsoring the Pure Chica Powder and Pamper Rooms at this year’s awards. The pampering services will include makeup touch-ups, lashes, hair styling, mini-manicures, neck & shoulder massages, and hand massages throughout the night.
Bathroom attendants will also be on hand to provide guests with a collection of emergency beauty and grooming products to accommodate their every need. Very fancy.
Wishing the very best of luck to ALL the finalists!
The awards will run until around 11.30 pm, and then…
Get ready to Afterparty…
Pace yourself, industry friends, because once the awards have concluded from 11:30 pm, the NTIA party people will be ushered to The Palms at Crown, where the festivities will no doubt continue very late into the night.
Viking is sponsoring the bigger-than-ever NTIA post-celebration with woohoo! Three hours of free drinks and epic entertainment to ensure the celebrations continue into the wee hours. How good is that?
See you all there!
