Luxe fashion designer Louis Vuitton has created a bag, in the shape of a plane, that costs more than $50,000 Aussie dollars and let’s just say, it’s pretty extra.

Love travel? Got an extra $50k that you’re happy to spend on a on bag?

Well, have we got just the carry on for you.

As part of Virgil Abloh’s Fall-Winter 2021 collection, Louis Vuitton has released a unique plane-shaped handbag that will set you back the cost of an actual plane – albeit, a 1968 Cessna 150H Single-Engine.

What the?…

The bag is made with the iconic LV monogram leather and comes with all of the features of a passenger jet; including wings, engines, tail and cockpit windows.

While we’re sure many there are a handful of people in the world flocking to purchase this interesting item, some have shared their views about the hefty price tag.

Other personal favourite tweets include “it’s just too plane for my taste” and “Where’s my chapstick? Have you checked to cockpit?!”

We can’t help but wonder how much it would actually hold, too. Are the engines tiny pockets? Can we store pens in the wings? Can I fit a spare outfit in the main body of the bag? So many questions…

Is this airplane bag art? Does it bring joy to the world? Would you buy it?

Or does it emphasise the insanity within the fashion industry and the extravagance consumers go to gain a higher social status?
